MBK and TSTT students prepare for village parade

Students in the My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) and Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Teachers (TSTT) programs created signs to celebrate Juneteenth in preparation for the Village of Monticello’s Juneteenth Celebration, which will be held on Saturday, June 18. The groups were among many others marching in the parade, which kicked off at the Monticello Police Station on Pleasant Street at noon and ended at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Library, with activities ongoing throughout the afternoon.
