A school bus carrying students from Monticello High School and Robert J. Kaiser Middle School was rear-ended by another vehicle during afternoon runs on Tuesday, Feb. 1. Each student was subsequently evaluated by MCSD school nurses and/or Mobilemedic EMS personnel, and no student injuries were reported. A second school bus arrived on scene to transport students home. Law enforcement was also on scene and is investigating the incident. School administrators are presently in the process of contacting the families of each student directly.
