It’s never too early to seek scholarships

It’s so early in the school year but not too early to consider scholarship opportunities! There are two scholarships posted on the Monticello High School Guidance Office page. Both are due in October. One is open to students in grades 5 through 12.

One scholarship is from AES Engineering and is open to students interested in any major. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of character as determined by the evaluation of the essays submitted. This scholarship essay is due by Oct. 6, 2019.

The other is not just for high school seniors. The Prudential Spirit of Community Award is open to students in grades 5 through 12. It is a youth recognition award based on volunteer community service. This application is due to Ms. Truesdell at Monticello High School by Oct. 29.
