Governor extends deadline for school budget/board of education mailed election ballots to June 16

Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued an executive order on Sunday pushing the deadline for mail-in absentee ballots for the school district budget vote and board election to June 16. Ballots received by mail at the district office by 5 p.m. on June 16 will be valid and counted.

The district will also accept ballots in person up until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9. The governor did not extend the deadline for in-person delivery of the ballots.

The district will live stream the counting of the ballots on June 16, beginning at 5 p.m.  The live stream will be available at this link at 5 p.m. 

The district office is located at 60 Jefferson Street, Suite 3, in Monticello.
