As of 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, the agreements necessary for the YMCA’s Club Kid extended-day program at the Monticello Central School District have not been finalized. Unless families are notified otherwise, Club Kid will not operate on the first day of school, Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The district and the YMCA are working diligently to complete the process as soon as possible. Although the program may still be able to begin on the first day of school, families should make alternate arrangements for Tuesday and the following days until an official start date is announced.
We understand the difficulty this may create for families and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We expect any delay to be brief and will notify families immediately once the program’s start date is confirmed.
