U.S. History & Government Regents cancelled; June 1 will be a regular school day

On May 24, the New York State Education department notified school administrators throughout the state that the NYS Regents Exam in U.S. History and Government, scheduled for June 1,  has been cancelled.

Monticello High School students will have a full day of school on June 1 and will be following their regular, in-person schedule.

The NYS Education Department will be asking the NYS Board of Regents to approve exemptions for students who would be otherwise taking the exam for graduation credit for the June, August, and January administrations of the exam.
