MCSD athletes shone at the Section 9 state qualifiers held earlier this week at Armory Track.
Gabby Almonte, Tiara Harris, Chelsea Reynolds and Kalene Harris, broke their own school record in the 4×200 relay. The new record is now 1:49.22.
Gabby Almonte and Tyrese Shaw qualified for the NYSPHSAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, which will be held on March 2, at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY.
