The students of St. John Street Community Preschool are getting an early lesson in health and wellness thanks to Jane Sorensen, EPIC Family Engagement Program Manager!
Ms. Sorensen visited each preschool classroom for 20 minutes on Thursday, Jan. 11, sharing fitness tips and tricks with some of Monticello Central School District’s youngest learners. She then treated students to story time, reading “The Busy Body Book: A Kids Guide on Fitness” by Lizzy Rockwell.
Ms. Sorensen’s visit concluded with a four-minute interactive workout; she also handed out healthy snacks for everyone to enjoy, showing students the fun side of staying healthy!
