The Superintendent Search Community Survey is now live

Please read the short message below from our Monticello Board of Education President Lori Orestano-James before taking the survey.

The Board believes it is critical to obtain community input about the desired characteristics of the next Superintendent as well as the challenges and opportunities that they will encounter.

To that end, an online survey has been posted and we strongly encourage everyone, from all stakeholder groups, to respond and provide their input. A link to the survey can be found below and will be available until December 6, 2019. The survey is available in English and Spanish, with other languages upon request. To request a survey in a language other than English or Spanish, please contact District Public Information Officer Courtney Bonfante at cbonfante@k12mcsd.net  We encourage everyone to fill out a survey once.

Please follow the links below to access the survey.

Members of various stakeholder groups are also encouraged to speak with their representatives, who will be meeting with the consultants on November 25, to share any additional input they might have.

We welcome everyone to an Open Community Forum with the consultants on the evening of November 25 at 6:15 p.m. in the A.P. Hughs Auditorium at Monticello High School.

Our goal is to appoint a new superintendent in March of 2020, with a start date on or before July 1, 2020.

Please continue to check the Superintendent Search webpage for updates as they become available.

If I can answer any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email (lorestanojames@k12mcsd.net) or call 845 794-7700 ext. 70523 and leave a message with the District Clerk.
