RJK Middle School will return to a hybrid model Monday, Jan. 25

Robert J. Kaiser Middle School will return to a hybrid model of instruction beginning Monday, Jan. 25. Students in cohorts A and C should report to the building on Monday for in-person instruction. Students in cohort B will begin to report on Thursday, Jan. 28.

When we return to school, it is the responsibility of every person in the RJK community to assist in safeguarding the health and wellness of others. We remind all students and their families to follow the safety protocol outlined in Our Path Forward including wearing masks, frequent handwashing and maintaining a distance of at least six feet from others.

Staff will follow enhanced guidelines limiting in-person interaction with colleagues and movement throughout the building.

Students and/or staff members experiencing COVID-19 symptoms cannot enter any district building. Please continue to monitor yourself and/or your child daily. If you or your child are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your health care provider. For more information on contact tracing and illness management, please review the New York State Department of Health’s Pre-K to Grade 12 COVID-19 Toolkit.

We thank all of our staff and families for their cooperation in keeping our schools and our communities healthy and are looking forward to having our middle school students back in the building.
