This year’s 5K was called “A Taste of Sullivan County,” and as the name suggests, participants had the opportunity to fill up on “tastes” from local restaurants after completing the run. Albella, Dutch’s Tavern, Monticello Bagel Bakery, Dunkin Donuts, Ciao Bella, Las Mananitas, Yanni’s, Sorella, Big Kev’s BBQ and Miss Monticello diner were among the generous restaurants who supported the event by donating one of their signature dishes to feed the runners post-race.

Similar to previous years, the Academy of Finance’s event planning class organized and hosted the events. The run netted $2,800 which will go towards scholarships for graduating seniors in the Academy of Finance program.
