If you’ve driven by our elementary buildings over the last few weeks, you may have seen the PRASAD van parked outside. Inside, students have been receiving dental services during school hours — a convenient way to keep our students smiling brightly!From cleanings to cavities, the PRASAD mobile dentist office partners with school districts and other agencies throughout the county to provide a school-based dental program. In a rural area that lacks public transportation like ours, a mobile clinic ensures that every child has access to quality dental care.
The program serves students who do not currently have a dentist, accepts most insurance and offers sliding scale payments based upon need.
