The Monticello girls and boys alpine ski teams competed with a lot of heart on Valentine’s Day at the Section 9 championships. Both teams won the section 9 title with seven athletes advancing to states.
Shane Bittinger, Ryan Grodin and Kyle Foss will represent the boys team at states and Sarah Grodin, Jessica Blakesley, Drew Taylor and Sarah Shamah will represent the girls team.
