The Kenneth L. Rutherford Elementary School is accepting donations for its “Backpack Program” which helps feed students at risk for hunger. Students who participate in the program receive a backpack filled with food each Friday to sustain them over the weekend. The program is accepting donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries, and cash. Any donations can be dropped off at the Rutherford School during regular business hours.
