District welcomes Theresa Carlin as interim assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction

headshot of Theresa Carlin Theresa Carlin has joined the Monticello Central School District as interim assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. For the past four and a half years, Ms. Carlin has served as the Superintendent of Schools at the Schenevus Central School District in Otsego County. She also has prior administrative experience as a special education director in the Unatego Central School District, and as principal in Deposit, NY.

“Curriculum and instruction has been an area where I found success as both a principal and superintendent,” she said. “I wanted to be a part of the process surrounding effective curriculum and instruction in Monticello. I am hoping to learn as much as I can about how Monticello provides learning opportunities for their students.  I am excited to meet everyone and gain a better understanding how everyone’s roles work together to find what is in the best interest of our students and their success.”
