On the morning of June 16, at approximately 8:30 a.m. a staff member inadvertently triggered the lockdown alert at the George L. Cooke Elementary School while attempting to grant building access to an individual.
The staff member immediately alerted law enforcement and administration of the error, and out of an abundance of caution, law enforcement investigated, and cleared the building for re-entry.
