Gabriela Almonte headed to state championship

Monticello High School athlete Gabriela Almonte will compete in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association’s Track and Field Championship on June 13 and 14. Gabriela’s performance in the 100m on June 4 at Goshen High School qualified her for this state-wide championship.  Congratulations and best of luck, Gabriela!

Gabby Almonte headed to states

Congratulations to Monticello High School athlete Gabby Almonte whose times at the Section IX Track and Field sectionals qualified her to compete at the state level. Gabby is headed to Staten Island this weekend to compete in the Indoor Track Championships at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.  Good luck, Gabby!

Girls modified volleyball team’s “Pink Out” raises $300 for Garnet Catskills

On Friday, Dec. 19, members of the Monticello girls modified volleyball team, along with their coaches officially presented Garnet Catskills’ Oncology Department with a check for $300.  The team raised the money through a “Pink Out” game earlier this year, where team members wore pink, accepted donations and held a bake sale to raise awareness …
