In November of 2018, Monticello voters approved the $54 million Classroom 2020 Phase I Capital Bond, which will fund critical repairs to district facilities. Each month, Superintendent Mangus releases a video in her monthly Navigator that provides a brief overview of how the project is progressing.
During the annual school budget vote on May 21, voters will consider the $85.5 million Classroom 2020 Phase II bond, which would finance additional renovations at all buildings, reopen the Cornelius Duggan Elementary School (pending NYS approval) and make essential repairs at the St. John’s Street Education Center.
