The Monticello Board of Education is accepting letters of interest from community members who are interested in serving on the Board. Qualified applicants must be 18 years of age or older, a resident of the district for more than one year, and meet all other eligibility requirements as outlined in district policy.
Letters of interest, and resumes must be emailed to Board Clerk Ann Marie Foss at AFoss@k12mcsd.net, and must be received by Friday, June 12 at 3 p.m. EST for consideration.
The successful candidate will fill the vacancy created by Trustee Ashley Rielly’s resignation. The term will begin upon the candidate’s appointment by the Board, and will end on the date of the next school board election, May 18, 2027. On that date, voters will elect a candidate to serve the remainder of Trustee Rielly’s term, which ends in June 2028.
