With a little help from Monticello High School students, Santa, Mrs. Claus and a slew of his helpers spread holiday joy to the preschool students at the St. John Street School. Organized by Monticello High School’s Food and Toy Drive Committee, Santa and his friends dropped by the school to read stories, play games, and give high-fives.
While it may have looked like Santa was visiting a sea of Grinches (due to the fact that his visit coincided with the school’s “Grinch Day” during Spirit Week), the students were all on the “nice list” and received a special goodie bag from the big guy, himself.
