Positive COVID-19 case at MHS; school expected to open Sept. 8 as scheduled

NYDOH issues new guidelines re: COVID testing in schools; MCSD expects to open as scheduled on Sept. 8

Dear Monticello Community:   On Thursday, Sept. 2, the New York State Department of Health issued COVID-19 testing requirements for all K-12 public schools. According to these new orders, all employees of K-12 public schools must be tested weekly for COVID-19, unless they provide proof of valid vaccination. Dogwood tree planted in celebration of Chris Sorensen at Chase Elementary

On Thursday, Sept. 2, a crowd gathered at the Emma C. Chase Elementary School to dedicate a tree in memory of Chris Sorensen.
