Seven MHS students’ work selected for statewide MLK exhibition

Each year, the New York State Education Department honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s memory by inviting schools to submit original student artwork and essays that reflect Dr. King’s six principles and steps of nonviolence. We are pleased to announce that the New York State Education Department and New York State Office of General Services have selected seven Monticello High School students for their 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Student Art & Essay Exhibition. Victoria Collins was selected for her artwork and Hanna Cavello, Brielle DiCio, Benjamin Megna, Joshua Miller, Adisyn Somers and Rachel Zirt were selected for their writing pieces.
