On the evening of Oct. 29, Monticello CSD administrators were made aware of a reported argument among elementary school students that escalated into one of the students allegedly threatening the other involved students. The district takes all reports of this nature seriously and contacted law enforcement consistent with our emergency response plans. Law enforcement investigated the matter and determined there was no credible threat or intent. All schools are operating on their regular schedules today.
