Emily LaRuffa will play volleyball for Le Moyne College in the fall

Monticello volleyball player Emily LaRuffa has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at division 2 Le Moyne College in Syracuse, where she will major in nursing.

Emily spent one year on JV and four years as a starter on the varsity team. She has been a team captain for the past two years as well as the team’s most valuable player. 

She has received multiple honors during her years here at Monticello:

  • 2018, 2019 and 2021 Class A Section 9 second team all-star
  • 2018, 2019 Sullivan County Democrat volleyball all-star
  • 2019 competitor IREVA (Iroquois-Empire Volleyball Association) National High Performance Team – Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Emily also plays club volleyball. She has been a member of the 18 Elite Pine Bush travel program for several years and also played club with the Hudson Valley Alliance.

Emily is the daughter of Cindy and Ted LaRuffa and the sister of Michael and Allie LaRuffa.
