Chase teachers’ generosity benefits local families

This spring, the Monticello Teachers Association (MTA) partnered with various community organizations to lend support during these unprecedented times. The Emma C. Chase Elementary School faculty and staff collected supplies and funds for the Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless. We collected a ton of toiletries, socks, large cans of vegetables, and $350 monetary donation for The Federation.

The Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless is a not-for-profit organization in Monticello that provides assistance to individuals and families in need. They operate as a safety net providing food and advocacy to those in crisis situations.
