Residents of the Monticello Central School District defeated the proposed 2020-21 budget with 1,327 no to 1,244 yes votes.
The Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. tonight to accept the official results. More information will be posted on the district’s website as it becomes available.
Residents also elected three members to the Board of Education:
Wendy Galligan-Weiner (incumbent) 1,532 votes
Helen Jersey (incumbent) 1,441 votes
Adrianna Mason Greco 1,448 votes
