On Wednesday, Feb. 24, the district was informed of a second positive COVID-19 case among an individual associated with the boys basketball team. In an abundance of caution, the five remaining days of the boys basketball season is cancelled. There will be no further practices or games.
“We know how excited our boys basketball athletes were to be able to play in this unusual year, and we’re saddened to have their time on the courts cut short,” Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Linda Oehler-Marx said. “We wish all of the affected individuals a quick recovery.”
