Jane Sorenson came to the Monticello High School Campus to talk with the Academy of Finance Accounting students about the intreviewing process. Mrs. Sorensen shared her life experiences, including working in the tourism and hospitality industries. She also told the class about her past intreviewing experiences.She gave tips and tricks to have the best interview. She discussed how to dress for success, how to communicate properly, the importance of a firm hand shake, and the necessity of having a great resume and cover letter to present to the interviewer. She also conducted mock interviews with the students which ended with the students giving each other constructive criticism to improve and be prepared for a real interview. The things the students learned will help them in any career .
