On the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 29, a school bus carrying one elementary student from the Monticello Central School District was involved in a bus accident with another vehicle in the vicinity of Dingle Daisy Road. The family of the student involved in the accident has been notified.
EMS first responders, law enforcement, MCSD administrators, and a school nurse responded to the incident. Out of an abundance of caution, the driver and student were transported to the hospital by ambulance. Law enforcement is currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
