We are excited to announce that Kimberly Ronaldson, currently serving as assistant principal at Kenneth L. Rutherford Elementary School, will be joining the leadership team at Monticello High School as an assistant principal. In this new role, she will succeed Eric Kaufman, who is departing for an opportunity in another school district.
Since joining Rutherford Elementary School in November 2025, Ms. Ronaldson has made a positive impact on students, staff, and families. An experienced educator and former secondary social studies teacher, she brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and dedication to student success.
Ms. Ronaldson will begin her new role at Monticello High School on July 27, 2026. We are grateful for her contributions to Rutherford Elementary and appreciate her continued commitment to serving the students and families of the Monticello Central School District.
The district will immediately begin the search for a new assistant principal for Rutherford Elementary School. We look forward to this next chapter for Ms. Ronaldson and wish her continued success as she takes on this exciting opportunity.
