Fifth-grade students at the Emma C. Chase Elementary School marked the completion of this year’s D.A.R.E. program with a fun and meaningful graduation ceremony on March 19.
Students celebrated alongside School Resource Officer Deputy Roy Rogers, their families, and special guests including Sheriff Schiff, Undersheriff Chaboty, and Sergeant Ionta.
As part of the ceremony, winners of the D.A.R.E. essay contest read their essays aloud, sharing what they learned throughout the program and how they plan to apply those lessons in their lives moving forward.
