In a generous show of community spirit, Wolf Lake Neighbors has partnered with the Kenneth L. Rutherford Elementary School to provide essential summer items to local students, helping them stay safe, healthy, and engaged during the summer months.

The donation includes books, sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottles, and deodorant—items that support both learning and well-being outside of the classroom. These contributions are designed to ensure students can enjoy their summer safely, while continuing to grow and thrive.
“This donation reflects the heart of our community,” Carolyn Rojas, KLR’s Social Emotional Wellness Facilitator said. “We’re incredibly grateful to Wolf Lake Neighbors for thinking ahead to what our students need during the summer. Whether it’s staying safe in the sun or keeping up with reading, these items make a real difference.”
The items will be distributed to students at the start of summer, with a focus on those who may not have easy access to such supplies.
Wolf Lake Neighbors continues to set an example of what it means to care for one another, especially for the youngest members of the community. Together with KLR, they are helping to make summer a season of joy, safety, and opportunity.
