Ms. Dutcher and Ms. D’Agata’s class complete scavenger hunt

On Feb. 6, Ms. Dutcher and Ms. D’Agata’s class completed a scavenger hunt around the school. They were joined by Deputy Barrett, Deputy Matthews, and Deputy Bongiorno from the Sullivan County Sherriff’s Office and Officer Williams from the Liberty Police Department. The students were split up into three groups and were given clues that brought them to their next destination. When they arrived at the next clue, they had to solve a math problem that aligned with the second-grade math curriculum. The students enjoyed being able to combine math and movement.
