A message from the Cooke PTO:
The first Cooke PTO Someone Special Dance was a hit!
What started out as a thought by the co-presidents this past summer grew to an amazing community event.
A special thank you to Principal Gallet for supporting us every step of the way! Thank you for coming with your own little special someone. Your presence is valued and appreciated!
Thank you to the Monticello Board of Education for your donation of children’s books! We were able to raffle off books at the end of the evening to some lucky students who were thrilled!
Thank you to the local businesses that supported us- Rieber Realty, The Law Office of Scott A. Russell, Sam’s Club and Dutch’s. Thank you to Legislator Joe Perrello for your donation as well!
Thank you to all of our Cooke staff, parents/guardians and friends who bought the decorations for our event! The space was beautifully decorated to welcome our guests because of your generosity!
Thank you to the staff, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends who volunteered their time to help at the dance. We had help Friday night setting up for four hours, Saturday afternoon for two hours before the dance began, two hours during the dance and one hour after the dance cleaning up. That’s a whole lot of time, energy and effort and we couldn’t have done it without you!
Thank you to all of the grown-ups who supported the event by being a Cooke student’s special someone! We loved seeing you having fun with your child! We hope you made memories to last a lifetime.
Thank you to all of our Cooke students for showing up dressed in your best, being on your best behavior and making us proud! We are so happy to have been able to do this for YOU and know you had so much fun (there were some tears shed when it was over). We look forward to planning many more special events in the future for our Cooke kids.
