Dear Parents/Guardians:
The end of the school year is rapidly approaching and with that come many important events in the lives of the members of the MHS Class of 2025. Here are some essential details about graduation and rehearsal.
Handicap Parking Permits- Can be picked up from the HS main office. There are a limited number of handicap spots. An application for an MHS permit for the event is required. The form must be completed and returned no later than June 16th. Temporary event passes will be distributed at graduation rehearsal.
MANDATORY REHEARSAL- FRIDAY JUNE 27th, 2025
· 9:30 AM: Indoor (meet in the large gym)
· 11:15 AM: LUNCH (cafeteria); Sign Senior Mural
· 12:00 PM: Outdoor (meet in the RJK parking lot)
· Tickets and handicap parking permits will be distributed at the end of rehearsal
· Each student will receive six (6) tickets- there are no extras
· If we switch to an indoor ceremony on account of weather, four (4 tickets) are for the HS auditorium and two (2) tickets are for the RJK middle school cafeteria (live stream)
GRADUATION CEREMONY- SATURDAY JUNE 28th, 2025
· Students should report at 9 AM to dress and line up. Outdoors: Seniors report to the RJK gymnasium. Indoors: Students report to the HS gymnasium.
· The ceremony begins at 10 AM sharp.
· All spectators, regardless of age, require a ticket. To ensure the safety and well-being of others, there can be NO exceptions.
· At the end of the ceremony students MUST report back to the RJK gymnasium where they lined up to get their diploma as they will be handed an empty diploma sleeve on stage.
· If a graduation gown was borrowed, it would be returned when the diploma is picked up.
ALL EVENT GUESTS ARE SUBJECT TO METAL DETECTION, SO PLEASE PLAN ACCOURDINGLY.
NO BALLOONS OR OPEN UMBRELLS ALLOWED ANYWHERE IN THE EVENT SEATING AREA.
