During the summer months, elementary educators from across the district participated in an engaging professional development session centered on enhancing literacy through fluency-based instruction. Facilitated by the Director of Elementary Instruction, Keith Petzinger, the workshop emphasized research-based strategies grounded in the Science of Reading and aligned with Monticello’s instructional playbook.
