The Monticello Board of Education presented MCSD Dispatcher Christine Cortright with a board award in recognition of her service to the district at the June 2 meeting. Board awards recognize individuals who have made significant positive contributions to the district.
Ms. Cortright was nominated by Director of Transportation Robin Sklar.
“I can’t name all of the reasons why Christine should receive this award,” Ms. Sklar wrote in her nomination letter. “There isn’t a single person in this district who she hasn’t helped. She started this job with no experience, and has taken it to the next level. Especially during this time of driver shortages, she has been creative in finding solutions to transport our students. The MCSD is lucky to have her.”
