Chase fifth-graders visit NYS museum

The fifth-grade students at the Emma C. Chase Elementary School took a field trip to the New York State Museum in Albany in early November.  After researching information about New York Sate, students were able to see some of what they discovered come to life. Some things they saw were dinosaur fossils,  some of the early logging and mining procedures of the state,  and history of life in NYC in the 1920’s.  They even enjoyed a ride on a one hundred year old carousel!
