MCSD voters overwhelmingly approve 2020-21 school budget

Golden Tickets still bringing smiles

MCSD will release initial plan for 2020-21 school year by July 31

MCSD reduces an additional $336,975 from budget for a total decrease of $694,048; residents to vote on July 28

On July 8, the Monticello School District Board of Education adopted a proposed 2020-21 budget that is $336,975 less than the budget initially proposed in June and $694,048 less than the 2019-20 adopted budget. Residents will vote on the budget on July 28 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the district’s polling locations (see below).  The proposed …

Summer school will begin on July 8

Credit Recovery 2020 will be offered using a remote learning platform. Summer school runs from July 8 through August 13 Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is no class Fridays. All Monticello students will receive $420 in food benefits through P-EBT program

Each student enrolled in the Monticello Central School District will receive $420 in food benefits through the Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) program between June and August. P-EBT is a new program to help fill the school meals gap for children who lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to COVID-19 school closures. …
