MBK Cross-Age Mentoring Program for grades 4-12

Our My Brother’s Keeper Cross-Age Mentoring Program (CAMP) is a highly structured developmental mentoring program. CAMP program links high school students with 4th through 6th grade students in a mentor-mentee relationship. Both engage in planned prevention activities to help the youth become more connected to their teachers, families, communities and their futures. The two will participate in social skills building activities, games and other activities.

This program aids mentors in developing civic-mindedness through volunteering, while also helping the mentees to become more connected to school. As mentees transition into high school, they complete a Right of Passage retreat that prepares them for their new role as a mentor to continue the cycle.
