English as a New Language (ENL)

The English as a New Language (ENL) department helps promote English language acquisition among English Language Learners. Students in this program receive instruction from dual-certified instructors using evidence-based ENL strategies to prepare them for academic success during their school career and beyond.

The Monticello ENL department recognizes its families as its greatest supporters. Our families are essential to our students’ success and we welcome the opportunity for families to partner with us. The following resources, most of which are available in many languages will offer a wealth of insight and information on ENL programming in New York State.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher, or the ENL Coordinator with any questions or concerns.
