Seven MHS students advance to state-level History Day Contest

On March 24, 2024, Monticello High School teacher Jeff Danzer took students from his Global II honors class to compete in the Mid-Hudson Regional for National History Day held at Locust Grove Estate in Poughkeepsie, New York.  These students have been researching their respective topics and building their projects since October. They finally got a chance to share their work with a host of judges and participants from the surrounding counties, and seven were selected to advance to the state level of the conference.
