Mrs. Furman’s second-grade class at the Emma C. Chase School are learning about ways to keep our Earth clean. As a culminating activity the students went on a litter pluck as they walked down the streets of Wurtsboro. The class put on their gloves and went to work filling bags with garbage. The students were amazed how much garbage they found.
Braeden said,” I was happy we picked up garbage and how we helped keep the Earth clean.”
Aubrey said,” It made me feel good.”
