The Monticello High School Chamber Singers won a second place prize in the 2019 Music in the Parks festival held in Jackson NJ. Music in the Parks is an annual adjudicated music festival held at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ.
Music ensembles from all over the east coast come to perform and to compete in the festival. The students receive valuable feedback from world-renowned music educators that they can reflect on and apply to future performances.
This is the second year that the Chamber Singers have won an award. The Concert Chorus also participated and received a trophy and special recognition.
