Mamakating Library offers virtual craft, reading programs; wildflower walk

The Mamakating Library is offering programs for children of elementary school age and even younger throughout the month of April. Have a look at the programs that include virtual gatherings and an outdoor adventure.

Every week join ‘storyologists’ Page Turner and Kenny as they head into their Once Upon a Time Machine and promote reading with comedy, stories, crats, recipes and games. This program is geared toward students in kindergarten through grade 3. Supplies will be provided free and you can access the program anytime. It’s virtual!

Spring Storytime Studio – Fridays at 10:30 a.m. through April 30 on ZoomA drawing of a baby sitting on a flower with abcs floating, a musical note and words announcing a spring story time.

This is for babies and toddlers, ages 0 through pre-k.

Wildflower Walk – Saturday, April 17 at 10:30 a.m.Grass and flowers on the bottom and text announcing the Wildflower Walk

Take an easy walk and search for wildflowers with the Bashakill Nature Club for Kids. All ages are welcome and must be accompanied by a caretaker. 

Kids’ Crafts with Miss Pati – Wednesday, April 21 at 4:30 p.m.A colorful line on the bottom and a craft in the center made with yarn and spirograph paper. Information about the event is on the page. on Zoom

Make a spirograph design out of yarn. Craft materials will be provided free. This craft is geared toward students in grades 4-6. Register by Friday, April 16.
