KLR updates re: in-person instruction

Greetings Rutherford Families, Faculty and Staff,

This is Mr. Palmer with some very important updates about school.

First, as a reminder, Tomorrow, April 14th, Thursday, April 15th and Friday, April 16th are all Full Remote Learning days. Students will not be entering the building on these days. Please make sure your children have charged iPads and they log in and meet with their teachers and engage in the learning tasks they are assigned. Attendance matters every day!

Report Cards will be sent home at the end of the week. Please be looking for them!

Next, Parents and Guardians have submitted their responses to the 4th Quarter Student Cohort survey and have indicated one of two options for the 4th quarter. Either 5 Day Full Remote Learning, which is Cohort D, or the 5 Day In-Person Learning, which is Cohort C.

Rosters for these options are now set. We will not be able to accept any changes for the remainder of the year.

Teachers will be contacting the new students on their rosters tomorrow, Wednesday, April 14th. Please answer calls that may appear as spam, blocked, or unknown, as it most likely will be the teachers.

Beginning Monday, April 19th, all students who are rostered to be IN-Person will attend school 5 days a week in the building. Each student will continue to have their temperature taken before entering the building, and parents will continue to respond to, and return, the health questionnaire form that is sent home monthly.

Every student and every adult are required to wear their masks daily. The only time a mask is to be removed is to eat lunch.

We continue to stay socially distanced at 6 feet in every area of the school.

Please stay healthy and safe.

Wishing you All My Best,

Mr. Palmer
