Cooke Elementary School’s Virtual Family Literacy night is April 7

Cooke Elementary School’s Virtual Family Literacy Night will be held virtually on Wednesday, April 7 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. 

Participants will enjoy: 

  • Welcome with Mrs. Gallet and Ms. Hector
  • Yoga with Mrs. Mendels
  • Storytime and activities with classroom teachers
  • EPIC Dr. Seuss Reading Challenge Raffle Drawing with Jane Sorensen

See your teacher’s Seesaw class for book choices. Choose two books from the virtual bookcase. Let your teacher know if you will need the materials listed for the books’ activities by March 26. The materials may be sent home, or a material pick up time will be coordinated prior to the event. Zoom links for the books will be posted on your teacher’s Seesaw the day of the event, April 7.

Coming in late April…Family Literacy Night Part 2: Parent Workshops with our school’s language and literacy experts along with fun activities for the students with our school’s music, library, and physical education teachers. Those in attendance will be entered in a raffle for prizes
