The village of Monticello is experiencing a significant power outage, with an expected restoration time later than 3:45. Due to this situation, the district is dismissing all schools, except for Chase, early. The dismissal times are as follows:
St. John Street: 1:35 p.m.
Middle School/High School: 1:45 p.m.
KLR: 3 p.m.
Cooke: 3:30 p.m.
Please note that due to the power outage, all affected schools do not have phone service at this time. The district is working to resolve this and will post updates on the school’s website ASAP. Parents may begin to pick up their children at the Cooke and Rutherford School.
The boys basketball and drama club will meet after school as planned. All other after-school activities are canceled, including the Cooke/KLR Empire After-School program. The Chase Empire Program will continue as scheduled.
