On Thursday, March 18, the district was informed of a confirmed COVID-19 case in an individual who was present at a girls volleyball game in Orange County on Monday, March 15.
After conferring with the Orange County Health Department and Sullivan County Health Services, we will be suspending all girls junior volleyball practices and games through March 24 as a result of the number of expected quarantines. We have also contacted all who have been identified as contacts of the exposure.
This incident will not impact the schedule of any of our school buildings.
