Go back in time with the Monticello High School drama club with their production of Back to the 80s by Dean O’Carroll. Mary is a fun-loving teen in the 21st century who clashes with her mother. But when she is accidentally sent back in time, she meets her mother in the 80s, Mary will discover that she and her mom have more in common than she thought. Mary must find a way to get herself back to her own time without damaging the past while forming a unique bond with her mother.
Join us Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and 6 at 7 p.m. at the Arnold Packer Hughs Auditorium at Monticello High School to enjoy an entertaining evening of 80s nostalgia. Tickets are $5 at the door, or you could bring a new unwrapped toy to benefit the MHS Toy Drive and get in for free. All proceeds for the toy drive benefit local families through the United Way of Monticello. In the event of inclement weather, the snow date will be Sunday, Dec. 7 at 12 p.m.
